Roxana Cole is a theatre and opera director based in Glasgow. With Scottish Opera she has directed Oedipus Rex in 2024 (5* The Stage, 4* The Guardian, Telegraph) at the Edinbugh International Festival. In 2020, Roxana directed an acclaimed outdoor production of La Boheme (5* The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Scotsman). Roxana has worked throughout Europe and America, including Associate Director roles at The Metropolitan Opera, Detroit Opera and Welsh National Opera (Golijov Ainadamar).

She has also worked with The National Theatre of Scotland, The Citizens Theatre, The Tron, The Traverse and Oran Mor. Most recently, Roxana directed the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow at the Hydro Ovo.
